Deputy Leader of the Green Party, Catherine Martin TD attended the protest on Saturday and said: “It is now more than five years since Glenalbyn Swimming Pool was closed and the money to re-open the pool has been ringfenced by DLRCoCo for the majority of that time.
“The local community feels that the ongoing mediation has become a never-ending process, and I agree.
“I urge all parties concerned to come to a suitable agreement and a quick conclusion as swiftly as possible so this vital local amenity can be restored to the people of Stillorgan, Kilmacud, Mount Merrion and the surrounding areas,” she said.
